Continental Kid prides itself in shipping your merchandise to you as quickly as possible and offers four ways for you to receive your order:
- Shipping to Your Home
- Shipping Ahead to your Travel Destination
- Shipping to Multiple Addresses
- Shipping Home from Your Travel Destination
Shipping to Your Home
In stock items that are being sent to your home within the continental United States and placed Monday through Friday before Noon EST will be processed within 48 hours. Orders which are being sent to your home within the continental United States and placed Monday through Friday after Noon EST will be processed within 72 hours. Pending any unexpected delays, weekend and federal holiday orders will be shipped within 2 business days.
Shipping Ahead to Your Travel Destination
When shipping to your hotel within the United States, orders placed at least one week in advance will arrive at the hotel within 48 hours prior to your arrival. Orders placed within less than one week will be shipped priority at an additional fee and will arrive within 48 hours prior to your arrival. Orders placed less than 48 hours must be overnighted at an additional fee to your travel destination. To maintain quality control and timely delivery, Continental Kid reserves the right to determine the best shipping method. Shipping charges are based on packaging costs, the weight of the order and the delivery method. There are no additional handling or convenience charges applied to your order.
When shipping to locations within the United States’ territories of American Samoa, Guam, Marianas Islands, Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands, please allow up to 14 business days for standard delivery via the United States Postal Service.
When your order is shipped ahead, these are the procedures that Continental Kid takes to insure your package’s timely arrival:
- When the order is placed, the travel destination is contacted regarding their receiving procedures.
- The order receives a tracking number. You will receive an email with the tracking number, the name of the carrier and the date it was shipped
- The order is tracked daily during shipment.
- The travel destination is contacted to confirm receipt of the package and where it is being held until your arrival.
- You will be sent an email to confirm the arrival of the order which will include who signed for the package and where it is located at your travel destination.
Shipping to Multiple Addresses
Continental Kid allows you the flexibility to split your order, sending part of the merchandise to your home and the balance to your travel destination. Please review Shipping to Your Home and Shipping Ahead to Your Travel Destination for the time period needed for each order segment and mark the appropriate boxes to indicate the two addresses. Shipping charges are based on packaging costs, the weight of the order and the delivery method. When shipping to multiple addresses, there are no additional handling or convenience charges applied to your order.
Shipping Home from Your Travel Destination
Always running out of room in your suitcase for all your souvenirs? There is no need to bring a spare bag for all the extras you collect along the way. Continental Kid will ship any unused supplies, all of your gear, and travel souvenirs back to your home. To utilize this service, your original order must be paid for by credit card.
These are the steps to follow:
1. Check the appropriate boxes on your original order and you will be provided with a Ship It Home Label and packing tape kit.
2. Simply pack up your treasures and seal the box
3. Attach the shipping label
4. Drop the box at the appropriate carrier.
5. Your credit card will be charged for the shipping costs. |
