Information We Collect

• When you order from continentalkid.com, we obtain the information we need to complete your transaction.  We collect your name, billing address, shipping address, email address, phone number, travel information, and credit card number (with expiration date) or gift card number. We also gather information on the person who will receive any gift you send (e.g., that person's name and address) and we will retain a record of your purchases.
• When you enter a sweepstakes or contest online, we usually collect your name, address, email address, and phone number. We also may ask you for additional information, such as your age, interests, product preferences, or zip code.
• If you choose to use or participate in one of our various services, promotions, programs, surveys, or clubs, we may collect additional information.
• When you submit a question to customer service, we need your email address to respond, and you also may provide us with additional information to help us answer your question.

How we use your Information

Continental Kid uses your personal information to provide you with services and to help us better understand your needs and interests. Our Use of Cookies and Aggregate Information

Continental Kid may use cookies to personalize or enhance your user experience.  A cookie is a small text file that is placed on your hard disk by a Web page server.  Cookies cannot be used to run programs or deliver viruses to your computer.  Cookies are uniquely assigned to you, and can only be read by a Web Server in the domain that issued the cookie to you.

Continental Kid also may use advertising companies to place our advertising at other sites across the Internet. These advertising companies collect anonymous information about your visits to our website or interaction with our email through the use of web beacons that allows Continental Kid to count users who have visited those pages and to deliver co-branded services.  Continental Kid may include Web beacons in promotional e-mail messages or newsletters in order to determine whether messages have been opened and acted upon.

We do not knowingly collect any personal information from children under the age of 13 on our website. We will not knowingly collect personal information from teens 13 through 15 without disclosing how the information will be used and notifying the teens that they should obtain parents' permission prior to submitting any personal information. For this reason, our online sweepstakes are restricted to entrants who, at a minimum, are at least 13.
